Aura: What Are You Telegraphing to Others?

by | Insights

Aura, in this sense, is not about a spooky colored invisible cloud that surrounds you. Aura is actually seen through your communication, both verbal and nonverbal. An aura telegraphs to others what they can expect from you. In other words, it quickly defines who you are to others. Aura is seen in your speech, body language, what you wear, how you react to situations, etc.

Ask yourself…

  • What is my present aura?
  • What parts do I want to keep or change?
  • What aura will I need to have in the future to be successful?

If you’re not sure what your aura is telling others, ask! You might be surprised by what you find. Perhaps your internal insecurities are not showing as much as you thought. Or, if you are telegraphing the wrong messages, maybe it’s time to make a logical shift. If so, proceed with caution. Your aura needs to be deliberate and clear. A ‘schizophrenic’ series of aura changes are often viewed as phony, confusing or even creepy!
